Buried Alive

by Carly   Mar 18, 2007

Slowly lay my box inside the ground
Fill the hole so I can't make a sound
The darkness in here embraces my fears
The soft red velvet is damp from my tears
Don't leave I'm still alive

To hear your mother whisper goodbye
To hear your father actually cry
My brothers and sisters shaking my hands
Screaming because they don't understand
Don't leave I'm still alive

Everyone crying and dressed in black
Mourning forever because I'll never come back
Laying various flowers over my grave
That will soon die with me someday
Don't leave I'm still alive

The doctors made an awful mistake
I wasn't dead I just couldn't stay awake
And now thanks to them this is where I lie
Thanks to them I was buried alive
