Mend my heart

by Silent Words   Mar 18, 2007

Invincible to fear,
Like any man should be,
If I show you that I am just a boy,
Would you still love me?

If you saw me cry,
Would you think less of me,
Think I am just a little boy,
Full of stupidity?

If walked away,
How far would you go,
Just to show,
That you will not let me go?

Is this pain inside me,
From my past,
From my heart,
Alls I know is it is tearing me apart.

Will you be the one,
Who will catch my tears,
Mend my heart and fears,
To shine a light on the darkness I have built up over the years.

You didn’t break my heart,
It was broken from the start,
But every piece has loved you,
And as far as I can tell,
If you fix my heart,
It will love you just as much if not more then from the start.
