I was wrong

by Silent Words   Mar 19, 2007

I feel have been wrong,
To ever think that I beat you,
Cause I know in your heart your love is true,
And to surpass what we got,
May be less likely then previously thought,
I now know what I have,
I have you,
But as to why I do not know,
What makes me worthy of being your man,
Is it that I let you bend my hand?
Or is it that I really am fair,
Decent in all ways,
And never not there,
When you need a friend I always pick up,
When you need support I never fail,
When you need love I always prevail,
Is it true that I am indeed,
Worthy of the girl who makes my heart bleed.
Bleed with a power unknown to all,
A power of love to which makes my other feelings small,
My feelings of pain,
Feelings of fear,
Feelings that I will not be yours next year.
But with this love that pulses through me,
These feelings are little and can't touch me.
You love makes me strong and will always give me strength to carry on,
And for this I say thank you,
For doing more then you ever had to.
