Lunar Eclipse

Today I looked at the moon and it winked at me
It looked into my eyes and said that we were meant to be

I shut my eyes and opened them to see the face was gone
But somehow I knew what I had looked upon

And while the time the moon was gazing down at me
It spoke so few words yet spoke them so clearly

I knew by the color and the twinkle in it's eye
The words he really wished to say were all bottled up inside

Even if his lips were bound to this very day
By the look on his face i knew what he meant to say

He meant to say that love is something you now know
so always try your hardest to never let it go

And, babe, you cant escape it so never try to run
for a life without any love is a lunar eclipse of the sun.
