Tire Chain

by Timmy   Mar 23, 2007

I want to be your tire chain
to increase your life traction
cause you are on slippery ice
ready to slide off
I will try and protect you
I will be your warm scarf
I will be your tire chain
whenever it may rain

I will keep you warm
I will keep you strong
you are faint-hearted
let´s get started
you are in need of my help
do not cunctator anymore
I am here

I want to be your tire chain
so you can maintain your track
you have thrown away all the books
down behind the rack
I will try and help you
I will be your teacher of love
I will be your tire chain
whenever it may rain

I want to be your tire chain
so I can stop your unstoppable pain
whenever it rain
I will be there...
I will be with you...

Kind of corny but well written all-the-same. I expect to see you progress with intricacy in your poems over the next few years, this poem is very good.

Great job, nice metaphor, i enjoyed it.
