The uncoming

by French girl   Mar 25, 2007

She sits on the cliff
waiting.
he would never come
she knows
but she still waits
for someone to rescue her
from the pain
they won't come
she knows
she lies down on the rough rocks
and goes into a long dreamless sleep.
she won't wake up
she knows
she's happy
she will never regret waiting for the uncoming of her lover.
