Magic

by PS   Mar 27, 2007

I can see the magic
feel it though the screen
guarding its freedom
keeping it safe.

dark storm clouds
swimming in sunlight
touch gray desolate
mountain tops

rivers flow in the distance
unseen and unknown
a maiden bathes alone
magic swirming around her

time fades and lurches
the picture is preserved
while the world outside
dies

gone is the sun, mountains
and clouds dont touch heights
fires burn, scorch, murder
the magic in the world

but in her picture, alone,
the maiden bathes
as the sun, clouds
touching heights
look on with
swirling magic
