A calling

by Sarah   Mar 27, 2007

The waves of time are ever lapping
On the shores of lonely lives
The spray upon the rocks keeps clapping
Weighing down the loads they drive
The straining hearts are all around us
But all the children turn blind eyes
If its in God we truly trust
Why don't we ever take the time
To cross the shores of empty souls
To bear the loads of battered bodies
And comfort lonely cries
