The Commitment

Time goes by so slowly,
counting down the days.
Wishing soon
you'd be here,
getting lost in another daze.

Minutes turn to hours,
the time is coming quick.
So many things to do.
hoping to stop time,
just by a single click.

But if i did that,
it would take longer
for you to arrive.
Slowly getting ready.
hoping to survive.

Without you
in my life, I think
that i would die.
But just thinking of that,
makes me want to cry.

He should be home any minute now.
walking threw that door.
then i get the call stating,
he wont be home.
for three days more.

After we hung up,
I just wanted to cry.
Because i had just found out,
My love for him,
had died.

When i found out,
he cheated,
I just fell apart.
I really truly loved him,
i felt this with my heart.

But now,
I finally realized.
he was just another boy.
And he played with my heart,
like it was just another toy.

So now Ive fallen,
in love again.
Knowing he wont leave.
Because he has committed himself.
To me and only me.
