Rewind

She tried to write about it over and over again, but the words worth explaining just didn't rhyme at all
so she thought of something totally new, she wrote about the struggles within her that had never been so tall
she wrote of a boy, one that had once meant so much to her but now meant nothing, not even something small
she wrote how she once had loved him and of how he tricked her and made her heart crumble and fall
she said i had such love for him
he felt nothing for me
i tried to catch his eye
but it wasn't meant to be
so now he walks right past me
without a single glance
i try to do the same
but i never get the chance.
However today she'll find the strenght inside to put her past behind
she won't look back or try to stop and never will those thoughts rewind
