How Can I Say Yes?

by Juanita   Mar 29, 2007

I look into your eyes,
Everything I see,
Seems to run and hide,
You haven't any fears,
Your worries have all gone,
All that I can see,
Is your toughness,
And your bravery,
You seem to hide,
All your other feelings,
deep down inside,
You try not to show them,
But you show me your love,
You show all your happiness,
Your not afraid to hold me when I am scared,
Your not afraid to show me that you care,
But we hardly ever talk,
And we hardly ever walk,
We don't even act as if we were one,
So how can I say yes,
When your just like a figure of my imagination,
How can I admit it,
If you can't even act it,
Must I just give it up,
Turn and let the darkness lead me,
In the opposite direction,
Should I walk,
Leave you in the past as a somebody,
But yet as a nobody in my future,
How can I keep saying yes,
If we don't even act as if we were one.
