Winter Memories

by XXTruthSeekerXX   Mar 30, 2007

What Dilly-Dally love
Brings me here...
That upon my leather seat
I stare through winter-land
Over there
Yes, there
Behind those white-covered trees
A pair, a duo strolling out
Hand in hand, Grey-tinted hair

Smiling...I open a chestnut drawer
Instead lay scattered pens
Further beneath some unread letters
Then finally a glimmer of dreams
Scooping it out as if a pearl
Cold against my naked hand
I still see those shadows among trees
One pair of dashing eyes
Another...lovestruck as I

I can still see that glimmer
Encrusted with hearts
Upon each of our fingers
Somewhere deep within

Our Winter Memories.
