Breathless

by Brianna Breakkdown   Apr 1, 2007

Lying in the grass together
We watch the stars twinkle in silky, black skies
My heart flutters like in the wind, a feather
And tears fill my eyes

You hear my breathing slow
And you use your fingers to turn my face toward you
Then the wind starts to blow
As you say "I love you"

You sweetly kiss my lips
And my breath is completely taken away
Your hands travel up my back from my hips
I don't want you to stop; I want to stay

You leave me breathless
With everything you do
You leave me breathless
Darling, it's true
Breathless...

In the summer breeze we make love
Sweet smell of flowers all around
I hear the gentle cooing of a dve
Our hearts are the only other sound

The first time our souls unite
Our love twinkles in the sky
Passion floods through the night
Over pink clouds we fly

The sweat on our skin glistens in the moonlight
And our breathing begins to slow
The love in our hearts continues to shine bright
And again the wind does softly blow

You leave me breathless
With everything you do
You leave me breathless
Darling, it's true
Breathless...
