I Am...

by Brianna Breakkdown   Apr 3, 2007

You fall and stain me in mud and dirt
I get torn, and you don't care that I'm hurt
More food gets on me than inyour mouth
You wear me swimming when you travel down south
Your pants and I don't get along
I'm tellin' you, you treat me all wrong!

I hate it when you wear me to bed
Why do you stretch me over your head?
You soak me outside in the rain
You curse me because I'm white and plain
Sometimes you wear me inside-out
You go fishing and cover me in dead trout

But I'm so forgiving of you, can't you see?
I cover your body, even with how you treat me.
When you're sad, I've always got your back
Even when you don't give me any slack.
You tear me, stretch me, stain me in dirt,
But I'm still your loyal, trusty shirt.
