    A bit short...butr a great poem!....loved how it ended...actually..the whole last stanza
    i think u have a mistake
    "she might never see he again"
    its supposed to be "she might never see him again"
    well..anyways..great poem...keep on writing

    I really liked this one...it is difficult to come to terms with loving/wanting to be around someone who has caused you pain or fear...I have dealt with this with both a father and a boyfriend...(not necessarily the locked-up part, but the missing someone who has caused you harm/fear) and you put it into words quite eloquently...great poem!

    I enjoyed reading this, the depth and emotion behind the words are clear for all to see.
    I thought the flow was good and the ending was such a good way to wrap this poem up.

    A lot of children grow up in violent households where parents drink to much or always fight. Sometimes they even turn out just like their parents and do it to their children which is scary. I think our children want to be just like us and in most case don't have a choice. Some people just aren't meant to have kids. Nicely done
