Only friends

Knew it from the first sight. i remember it exactly when and where!!! that was special day for me.
we met after that but i could say nothing all i did i laughed trying not to be silly joked and went away. i had the courage to tell her how i feel on the phone but she said....................... she said we still young lets be only friends. that was the last year may i have a chance now ?????? but i can't just go and catch it.
why????
may be least she may say the same or worse she may say i have no hope......... that will kill me so i don't dare to try.
