Our Life

by Joy dela Pena   Apr 3, 2007

How wonderful how we started,
Both of our lives been failure and wasted.
There was you drowning yourself,
And there was me keeping all my pain in shelf.

All the pain we keep on denying,
All the anger that we're hiding.
We're trapped in this world of pretending,
We always tried to forget all of our suffering.

We smile and laugh,
We let people see that we are tough.
Showing those smiles outside,
But we can't escape the pain inside.

You have your own world, so do I.
But one night you comforted me while I cry.
The magic of destiny then began for us,
And now our life meant to last.

It's a constellation of stars above,
The time now was set for our love.
It's a miracle of angels in heaven,
They knotted our strings to be together again.

Soul mates that lost for a thousand years,
Our time now begins to stop our tears.
A magical way of starting our life together,
And now we will face our future even better.

We're home at last,
Let's make a new life and forget about the past.
This is our life to share,
Our love that we will cherish FOREVER.
