I'm wishin'

by Mimi   Apr 6, 2007

I'm hoping, I'm praying, I'm pleading, I'm yearning, I'm begging for you to hear me out.

I've made a fool of myself, that I fully know, but hon, you don't gotta make me shout.

I've bounced all over, from friend to foe to freak

but gimmie a chance to explain, cuz your ignorance is starting to make me weak.

Everything i say comes out wrong, especially when i talk to you

So, really, I'm not at fault. I just wanna be your homie again, just wanna be cool.

Akwardness, avoidance, it ain't for me. I want us to chill and be like we used to be.

And if we could be tighter, that would work great, but we won't get anywhere at this rate.

Gimmie an inkling, a foot or a yard. I won't go no further, I'll act like I'm barred.

That's all I ask, just to be cool. Trust me, I'm done walking around like a fool.
