There is this girl
who is close friends with me
i though about a purl
but she still wouldn't see
Ive wanted her since the 6th grade
and i still want her till this day
so i still have to wait till i get paid
to go to her Friends to see what she had to say
Ive asked her out several times
but she said that we were to good of friends
so i still keep flipping those small dimes
and i keep trying to pop her with rubber bands
all just to show her that I'm here
and that i would do anything for her
even take her to a pier
so i say lets give it a try
because if it doesn't work out
then you ain't got to worry about me no more
i wont even show the slightest pout
because i know all about whats in store
all these things are in my prayers, wishes and dreams
maybe someday i will just get one chance
if i mess up you can shoot me with beams
because I'm not the kind of guy who wants to get in your pants.
