Black tears

by Evil One   Apr 8, 2007

My tears are running down my face,
this just something you can't taste,
this pain dwelling with in me,
it is begging to be free.

Then death will cover the sky,
as I lay their to cry,
nothing can help me now,
so should I throw in the towel.

Nothing will cover this land but ashes,
and the scars won't heal from the lashes,
the creatures of the night should fear me,
because of what they can't see.

Time to look at the black gates,
to break them open into fate,
my eyes grow reddish black as they go down,
everything becomes forsaken and desolate in towns.

Nothing left to do but lay in this cold snow,
and watch the blood flow,
with the darken skies,
and look in the mirror one last time at my eyes.

I laugh at their pity but despise them all,
tonight is the night I fall,
I have nothing to fear,
just look into my eyes and watch the black tears.

Wow...very vivid descriptions...strong yet they the poem shows a hint of fragility in the character!
