They weren't for us

by deanna davis   Apr 8, 2007

You Whisper in my ear as tears start rolling down my face.
All those sweet nothings are put back in their place.
They weren't for us
They weren't for you.
As the wind blows my hair over my eyes
you tell me baby please don't believe all those lies.
It wasn't for us
It wasn't for you.
Soft kisses in the morning and sweet laughter at night,
all those moments are re-lived, then disappear from my sight.
They weren't for us
They weren't for you
deep inside your soul you want to scream like me
Deep inside your soul you are scared of what you'll see.
Those memories are ours
Those memories are mine.
For the rest of my life ill be wondering
For the rest of my life i will dream.
I will dream that you will find your way back to my heart and forgive me for getting you lost.
and i will dream that one day well be together no matter what the cost...
