A King's Love

by Marcus   Apr 9, 2007

I always knew that once I found Love,
Suddenly my life would change.
I'll get up each morning and look above,
And find a Queen in my range.

I'll say "Madam doe th thy love me,
She'll smile in a sense of peace.
What matter of man who can not see.
Thy Love your beauty release.

I'll say,"thy light lighted a thousand caves.
And it is seen from miles away.
In the darkest of pits your life saves.
Me from Pershing into a dark day.

Without your existence my flesh would melt,
And my bones would return to dust.
My soul would no longer be able to be felt,
And all my dreams would rust.

She'll then look astray, but only in time.
She'll then say "I'm her king"
I'll hold her in my arms knowing she's mine.
And worrying about absolutely nothing.
