Many times you hurt me

I often felt this way while dealing with my exhusband and his sudden personality change when he was in that bus accident several years ago.

This one verse takes me back to a time when I fought for my marriage with every breath in me and how, even after all the heart aches, I do not regret the fight. It was as you say "my own chosen path".

In the end I had the same conclusion. I will not give him another chance. Thanks for taking me back to a time when the fight for my marriage seemed to be worth more than all the gold in the world.

Wow.. this is truly an amazing poem.. i love the way it read.. very smoothly while still expressing every emotion and thought you had.. it was long and some long poems seem to drag on simply for length and not because the writer really has much to say, however.. this was not like that at all.. every line was filled with purpose

over all a beautiful poem.. also i especially love the repeating lines.. i myself do that in some of my poems :D i think it really adds something
