The Boy Who Could Not See

by Rachel   Apr 11, 2007

His smile; a disappointment
he doesn't realize her frown
she has no one that will hear her vent
so she drives all night threw town
she could swear he see's right threw her
like a shining clear new window
when she see's him now all she see's is a blur
she wants to escape these problems and just let go
but they've trapped her in this place
a cage around her soul
she no longer wants to see his face
there's nothing left, it's coal
she's weak inside at the thought of him
sometimes it's the cause of no sleep
both future and past are looking quite dim
its why she will cry and weep
she only wishes on thing each night
for him to see more clearly
why she feels the way she feels; this fright
and that it's him she loved so dearly
