My Worst Fear

My Worst Fear

The way you hold me close
The way you speak in my ear
Everynight I get a love dose
But this is my worst fear

The way we connect
Just you and I
No regrets
Let us shine

The way your eyes glisten
The way you tell me to listen
To your heartbeat
So deep it repeats

This is my worst fear
You shut the door behind me
You let me be
Your eyes
They don't shine

The passion
That you had for me
Begins to fade
The promises you made

Is put aside
The way we connect
Just you and I
Is my regret

This my worst fear
The picture of you begins to fade
Our love
Will never be remade

This is my worst fear
Only you could whisper in my ear
Only you could tell me to listen
To you heart beat

Your love for me is gone
Just like the glisten in your eyes
Your love for me that I have longed
Just no one and I

This is my worst fear
Never again will I hear
you say
I love you
This is my worst fear
Never again
Will I hear
Your heartbeat
Or feel your body heat
Against mine
Just no one and I
My worst fear
