Very sad poem. Things we carry over from childhood still affect us as adults.

And still till this day, when the clouds begin rolling in
I pray to our lord and ask for forgiveness for my sins
So maybe that is why on rainy days I feel so blue
I sit at my bed and god I cry with you

    I liked your ending.
    Take care Cindy

Cathy, what a great poem. I got an actual visual as I was reading the poem of God crying. Excellent job.

I remember as a child asking my mother also why it rained and if God was crying ... it just seems to rain a whole lot more now-a-days than it did when I was a child.

Cathy, I am.....really choked up. I feel like I have so much to say but don't know where to start. Even though this was a three stanza poem I LOVED IT. I am a bible-believing Christian and when I come across a poem like this it brings a huge smile to my face.

I for one cry with God all the time. I am so saddened by the world and the people commiting these sins and not careing. Everyone will sin yes, but there are so many people hungry for God but have a hard time believing he's there, or they want to have one foot with the world and a hand with God and it doesn't work like that. Even though I'm sure God gets dissapointed sometimes, he loves all his children equally (even the sinners) and if you truly do cry with God, I encourage you to pray for the sinners while your tears fall. Sometimes when we are so hurt at the way the world lives and we want to help but dont know what to do....When God sees your belief in him....who knows, things could in fact turn around. And the rain will stop, and the sun will shine!
Excellent poem Cathy I truly enjoyed it!
