To Keep breathing

by Lia   Apr 15, 2007

When your best friend feels broken you pick up the pieces, as though the only way tokeep breathing is to help them move on. Even though you can't touch them you know they are right beside you, to carry you through the widespread journey we call life. To touch a heart, to touch a soul is binding. Once they have torched through the barrier of hate and knowledge you have nothing to do but pray that this one person that has brought upon a happiness you are unable to describe, will never leave your needing side. Some friendships are like the ocean, at first glance they appear never ending, but they come to a sudden halt when it started to get rocky. But with you, my dear, the ocean goes forever, a timeless piece of history that will end when the world does. A single smile from your tearful face can make it like I can breathe for the first time. I love you. This is a love deeper then passion, it is a love that through the ages has kept the stars apart, and kept the roses from wilting. In a world that praises hate and laughs at agony, we have one thing to keep the sky from hazing over. That is our friends. When you feel as if the only way you could go on is if you have that tensder touch from someone who would kill for you, or die for you. Call on me my sweet.
