A heart so pure
You could look right thru to the core
Only if you'd wish to
Or would you want more?
A mind filled with thoughts so old
Never I have changed my state of mind
Wisdom wandering everywhere, I've seen it all
For I've been created over a long period of time
My body, one would think it's useless
Yet it protects me from all harm
Caused by those who do not want me to be
I'm nearly visible, yet that holds it's charm
A soul I doubt I've got
Only flesh and veins reveal my very existence
Built to be strong, simple
Nothing untouchable in need of maintenance
My skin so soft, yet rough
Existing out of nothing but minerals
One can only reach for me, none will break me
For I'm an ever lasting crystal
