I Made You Cry

You said it's not my fault
but I think that it is.
When I told you...
I didn't think it would happen like this.

I didn't mean to make you cry
and hurt your feelings the way I did.
That was just a secret
that I couldn't have hid.

I don't like to see you cry
especially if I made you shed the tears.
We shouldn't be having problems
we've been friends for to many years.

I'm sorry for what I did
I shouldn't have done it in the first place.
I didn't think you'd cry
I didn't think I'd see tears upon your face.

You probably got a broken heart
and I think thats my fault again.
I hope our friendship
goes back to what it was then.

I hope you accept my apology
but you really don't have to.
This poem is important to me
because I'm giving it to you.

    Now i call this the best, beside the best quality of the poem, it is also the greatest meaning. look how you are realizing that you might hurt someone s feelings and look at others how they break your heart without turning around to see what they did to you. this shows what kind of person are you... I wish i had some friends like you then i wouldnt be worried at all about the pain if being part of this life.

    Nice work, really heartfelt - not much to fault really apart from some of the rhyming seems very forced and sometimes its better not to rhyme. Also some spellings are wrong such as to should be too - otherwise its great work and i look forward to reading more from you.
