Can the tear's of love ever dry?

by Pain Remains   Apr 15, 2007

Can the tear's of love ever dry?
Maybe upon my naked cheek,
But tonight in this soul of mine,
I know my tear's and I will meet,

And when I'm out or in a daze,
My mind drifts off to a better place,
Where I am there in his arm's,
Where I can see his eye's, his face,

And when they are talking with laughing smiles,
And in mind they think that I am there,
I am in my special place,
Without a worry, without a care,

And when I'm on the bus to work,
And I stare into the distant street's,
I am waiting in that little place,
Where I and my true love shall meet,

And when I close my bedroom door,
Reality hits me hard and fast,
That special place leaves my mind,
As I know his love did not last,

And so,

Can the tear's of love ever dry?
Maybe upon my naked cheek,
But tonight in this soul of mine,
I know my tear's and I will meet.
