I Love You

As we lie here together
Your hands laced in mine
There's a look in your eyes that says,
I'll love you until the end of time

You hold me close
Gently here in your arms
Making me feel completely safe
From any real harm

You look deep into my eyes
While slowly touching my face
And at this moment, your sudden kiss
Becomes the most beautiful embrace

You slowly pull away
But then gently grasp my body tight
While doing so, you quietly whisper in my ear
"You look so beautiful tonight"

While lying here in your arms
I know this where I'm supposed to be
It's the most amazing feeling
And I feel that you're the only one for me

I gently lift my head up
And while looking into your eyes
I calmly speak a reassuring "I love you"
That is free from deceitful lies

While still holding me close
And never looking away
You whisper a promising "I love you too"
That lets me know you'll always stay
