LOVE IS BLIND

LOVE IS BLIND

The blinds that cover my eyes,
make it harder to see the clouds that fill my skies,

The butterfly pain in my heart,
spikes desperation inside of me that
never wants us to be apart,

The insatiable logic that is denied by my brain,
keeps me from feeling deep rooted pain,

The moments that make me fly,
can't change the bad times that I try to deny,

The love I hold for you is burning my dear,
part of it is passion and love and other is fear,

The distance between what I say and feel is long,
but I'd do anything to keep a peaceful song,

How long can these unspoken games of lies and smiles last,
will I ever take these blinds off and leave you in my past,

The desperate need for love overpowers me,
somethings you don't want to see.
