Forbidden Love.

He's too old,
She's way too young,
their parents don't want them
to be in love.

Her parents have no clue,
her sisters have an idea,
His parents thinks she's older,
and their friends don't even care.

She lies when she's asked if she has seen "that boy",
knowing inside her mind,
that once again tonight,
they'll be spending some time.

Not understanding why their age difference
is such a big deal,
she wonders how it would feel,
if she was in her parents place.

She sits back and closes her eyes,
and finally realized she'd probably feel the same,
but she just wishes her parents would try to understand,
that they care for one another more and more each day.

She wants to be with him, only him,
No one else in the world could take his place,
And even though everyone is against it,
they'll stay together,
forever.
No matter what, until the end,
they'll walk, hand in hand.
