The Start Of You And Me

by Poet   Apr 18, 2007

It started off all wrong, you and me
It started off with neither you nor me being able to see
Being able to see who we were hurting
Being able to see what exactly we were doing
As your fingers intertwined with mine
As your hand ran upon my leg, I was fine
As you held me in your arms
I never realized we'd cause so much harm
As my hand returned your gestures
As yours did all the same
As we continued to play along with your game
With the touch of your hand
I slowly began to understand
As your lips touched mine
And our tongues just collided
I knew I wouldn't be able to take any of it back
So now i sit here with in on my mind
Wondering if I was and am completely blind
Are you telling me the truth
I'm I going to die in my youth
It all depends on what you choose to do
I love you, you know I do
But alot of the time it seems like you just want someone to screw
So think back, yeah I'm going to make you remember
The time we had, our first kiss together
The bus, the trip, every single stop, every single touch
Now tell what I mean to you and just how much
How much do you love me
What would you do
Would you stay by my side
Would you tell me endless lies
Or would you just let me die inside
