I have described her before, to my friend who understood,

the heartache and pain, that a woman like her can serve,

tho she is honest and true, knows my every waking thought

to know I would fight the dying battle, like none I have ever fought

from her I would have life, a life I have never had

because I have lived my current life very happy but sad

for over a score I have search for her so

only to find nothin, closely followed my loneliness I will only know

she is always far away, even when she is close at hand

though no matter how ever far she got, I know I will be her man

for her I would be him, always trusting and there

for her I would give my heart, and for her always care

I would say the words I love you, ever night before we sleep

then wake with her each morning, to kiss her oh so sweet

and in between, I would give myself, my body and my soul

to let her stay within my heart, for always evermore.
