Love and the stranger...

by mayette   Apr 20, 2007

I stubbornly resist the word surrender...
how can i?
i stubbornly resist the word love...
He is a stranger to me
so totally unknown to me
but wherever i go he keeps taunting me

if only i can choose i will
for it is hard to love a stranger...
love?-how did i define it?...
and the stranger how can i embrace the thought of it?...
as i steadily gaze upon the sky fighting over and
over again with my wills and desires
as i forcefully think of ways how to get rid of him
Love begins to grow,
desires begin to change
for love is always there
and a stranger is not always a stranger
if you just allow what means to happen...

Aside from the technical errors, I find this piece rather beautiful. I especially loved the above lines. Of course, human emotions--like Life--is not constant, but rather, a constant change. And sometimes it makes the heart our reason's foe, then something wonderful happens--love grows. =]
    I really like this piece
