You taught me...

by Ivan Miller   Apr 20, 2007

I'm alone, lost, compromising my thoughts with the feelings in my heart wondering about you everyday, I take time out of my life everyday and wonder what I can do to find you, what I can do to be there for you.

I doubt my ability to find love, but thinking about you gives me the power to forget about my doubts and go with whats in my heart, to fight for everything I want and never stop until I have my hand raised in victory, and have the world know that a new champion is born, not born of anger or hatred but born of love, someone who's willing to go the distance and prove he's the best.

I look around every corner, answer every call, look in every room, just to find some evidence that you're there, listen to every song, look at every show to remind me of the things we have in common, I read every e-mail, always check the mailbox, go to every church just to find a sign of you somewhere, I give my hearts content to find you and let you know how much I care for you.

I've never given up you taught me that, I've never backed down you taught me that, I've looked at things differently you taught me that....you've taught me so much, I'll have to teach everyone how to never give up.

Dedicated to Mary, you've taught me so much, in return I'll teach the world to do the same.

From the way you describe her and how she has helped you I can see why you have been fortunate to have known her.
