Summer

by Leon   Apr 21, 2007

To play in the sunset
To sing at sunrise
And God knows where
What heavenly surprise

To sleep in the shade
To watch the stars at night
To watch the sunset
Oh what a sight

To see that girl
Who warms up the heart
With just one single sight
To talk to her in the park

To hear the birds sing
And go to the blooming graveyard
To see Spencer View to your left
And to your right the outer ocean

To ride bikes at evening
And run in the morning
To walk with my friends
As the church bells ring

Oh how I wait
To sleep quietly by the flowing stream
And to dream that beautiful dream
That mid-summer night's dream
