Rest Of Your Life

Your shining hair reflecting in the sunlight
with one look and a kiss or maybe even twice
I could awake the sleepiness in your eyes
and casually I'll ask you in a lark's voice
what are you doing for the rest of your life?

So what are you doing in the seasons of your life?
in the times, days, months and years of your life
Because I have only one request of your life
that you spend some of your life...with me.

Could I say a few words on describing your eyes?
I want to see your eyes shine in every kind of light
I want to see them in morning shine and gleam in night
That hopeful tomorrow waiting deep within your eyes
endless oceans of blue around the pupils of your eyes
the blue eyes from which i never want a tear to cry
so please...let me be in the rest of your life.

Let me be the summer, spring, fall and winter of your life
Let me be the February rain and July sunshine of your life
Let me be the north, south, east and west of your life
and I'll always remember you as the very best of my life.

...so...what are you doing for rest of your life?

    WOW WOW WOW the whole month thing and how you repeated life really pulled me in. than it suprised me when you said: **

    that just made it all the more real, and was a great great ending. keep it up you are a fabulous writer. love your work. you're in my favs.

    Ok i have no idea who the
    Vonnie Mchugh is but she's said exact comment to 2 other poems i've read. but that was beautiful i loved it...it is definatly somethin that makes me want to have a look through the rest of your work
