I KNOW YOU FROM SOMEWHERE

by RONNIE   Apr 13, 2004

I saw him walking down the street one day
As he got closer I tried to look the other way
He walked pass and said hi, how are you?
He sounded so familiar that I didn’t know what to do

My stomach felt funny then my heart joined in
I grabbed them both so neither would win
All I could do was stop and stare
Thinking to my self I know him from somewhere

He turned around and gave me a smile
But all I could do was stand there for a while
Wondering to my self where I saw his face
Trying to remember the time and the place

I was thinking about it all of the day
Who is this man that made me feel this way?
I called everybody I thought would know
Just because it was bothering me so

I sat there staring at all four walls
Thinking about who else I should call
The day was over and now its time for bed
Trying my best to get this man out my head

I woke up and sat straight up in the bed
Now I remember the man that’s been in my head
The man that made my heart join a race
Now I can say where I seen his face

I see him every night and sometimes during the day
When I’m trying to put all my cares and troubles away
I know him very well or at least it seems

The man I saw was the man of my dreams
