The Proposal

--The Proposal--
She sit and waits,
as he enters the room.
He has flowers for her
behind his back.
Her face lights up
And her eyes fill with joy.
He walks over
and sits beside her.
He whispers in her ear
"I love you, Baby."
Tears of happiness fill her eyes.
He hands her the flowers
as she reaches out towards him.
She put them in a vase
next to the bed.
He smiles at her,
and gets on one knee.
She gasps as tears run down
her soft cheeks.
He pulls out a small box,
and opens it.
She gets down on her knees
and hugs him.
She whispers, "Yes!"
in his ear.
He smiles and stands up
with her in his arms.
He wipes the tears from her face,
and kisses her nose.
He slips the ring,
onto her finger.
She glances at it
and looks up at him in the eyes.
She kisses his check and whispers
into his ear,
"I love you too."
