Too close

I don't want to be close to anyone,
I'm better off alone,
Because every friendship is a string,
That keeps me tied to home.

I'll get out of here one day,
Just you wait and see,
I wont let anyone hold me back,
I'll be the best that I can be.

If I think you're getting far too close,
I'll cut myself some slack,
And if you try to follow me,
I won't be coming back.
