Guilty(Part 2 of I Didn't Mean to Break Your Heart)

by RicaLo   Apr 14, 2004

You made me feel guilty yesterday.
How did you do it you may ask?
Remember when you asked me to be your girl And I blatantly refused?
Yesterday you told me that you love me.
My breath was lost like a small pebble in the woods as I heard those words that are sweeter than honey.
I looked into your beautiful brown eyes
Looking for some sign of deception,
But all I saw was honesty, seriousness, and truth.
I shouldn't have thought the worst of you then.
I shouldn't have stereotyped you with other guys.
Why didn't I give this love a chance?
Why did I crush you?
Now I know that you love me,
But deep inside, I also know that I am guilty.
