that if we were just friends
here would be no broken hearts

all you had to say was that it will be OK
not to worry and that "i love you '

four months went by and everything was bliss
every word you said so sweet
amazing was your kiss

but now not a response no call
my heart ripped out of me
you wont speak to me at all

i cant eat or sleep all i do is cry
because i only ever asked you for the truth
and you gave me a lie

i cant think of what i did wrong
i go over it all day
why did you do this after so long ?

and now our friendship that meant so much is done
because you wont talk
it hurts all over to the point where I'm numb
