Nobody's Somebody.

by Alissa   Apr 26, 2007

I give one glance,
a smile I've never seen.
So wonderful,
makes me smile.

I wait for him,
just to pass me by.
He doesn't notice me,
but why?

I wait for him to look,
but he looks past me.
Maybe someone else,
I'm not special.

Yet I we danced once,
but he didn't notice me.
He never will,
for I am a nobody.

Only nobody's talk to nobody's.
I will never be with a somebody,
they were all nobody's.
He's too good for me.

But I'll try,
maybe if I open my mouth.
Sing my words that are kept,
he will realize.

Or not.
