Let You Go

by Daz Mellow   Apr 26, 2007

How could you shoot me down,
When you've never let me fly?
How could you hold me back,
When you've never let me go?
How would you know how I feel,
When you've never been in my position?
Don't say you're sorry.
Don't say you would take it back if you could.
Don't ask for my forgiveness,
You know I wouldn't if I could.

When you're lying,
When I'm hurting,
I'd just let it go.

When you're not here,
And I'm wasting my tears,
Id just let it go.

When I've finally got so broken,
Got so tired,
I could break down,
I could cry,
Seek revenge.
For what you did to me.
I could try to hit you where it hurts,
I could try to make you pay,
But I don't want to be low as you.

The past is the past,
You already did what you were meant to do.
Even if its not my fault I'm sorry.
Sorry for trusting you.
Opened my heart up to you,
So you could pick it out and throw it away.
Now that I know the truth,
I guess I could say,
I've finally let you go...
