Billet-doux

by Pia   Apr 27, 2007

Write me a billet-doux,
And my fears you will subdue,
Lull me to sleep with words so sweet,
and I'll wake up thinking of you.

Write me a billet-doux,
One I can read all day through,
and find the meanings you hide so deep,
about the love that you once knew.

Write me a billet-doux,
when I'm feeling cold and blue,
Your letter would be a silken touch,
So warm a caress that I longed so much.

Write me a billet-doux,
And I'll write one to you,
We'll find ourselves in sheets of papers,
Oh write me a billet-doux.
