Reversable Dreams.

by carissalynn   Apr 29, 2007

I'm sweaty
and panting.

My Nightmares have
become my reality.

I cant shake it off
or wake up to make it
disappear.

Its here,
lurking over my shoulder.
Just waiting for me
to let my guard down,
before it attacks me,
and tears me
and my being apart.

Coming from someone who suffers from a condition known as night terrors, this hit home for me..
To much for me as well, lol
    But excellent portrayel as always

That last verse was really creepy. I was lying on my bed.. in the dark, reading it to myself. *shivers* Really good job on this one!..
    Just one suggestion..

    I think the last verse should be written like this;

    Its here,
    lurking over my shoulder.
    Just waiting for me
    to let my guard down,
    before it attacks me,
    and tears me
    and my being apart.

I just thought it read a lot better that way. Up to you!..
