Why Do I, How Could I?

by Lindsay Miles   Apr 29, 2007

Why do I want you?
How could I like you?
Your ego is huge,
A little selfish too.
You say you're a flirt
Make me feel like dirt.
So why do I, how could I,
Possibly want you?
I hate you so much,
But each time we touch,
I forget the world all around me.
But you treat me so bad,
You make me feel sad.
So why do I, how could I,
Possibly like you?
You're so not my type,
I glare at your sight,
But inside, I just wanna hold you.
And I know you see,
What you're doing to me.
So why do I, how could I,
Possibly love you?

This poem was well written. It conveyed a great deal of emotion and seemed to fly relatively well. The syllable counts weren't perfect but they were medium. All in all this poem was written in an expressive way and because of that. 5/5.
