I've seen her smile in the morning light
It would take my breath away
I'd hold her close and hold her tight
Hopin' she'd let me stay
Inside her heart forever
And let me be

The air she breaths, the song I sing
Her destiny, what tomorrow brings
I'd give to her all I have
My heart and soul would be
Her everything

Each night I pray to the lord above
Hopin' she'll never leave
And I can't help but wonder why
She gives this love to me
And when we're old and gray
Will I still be

    What a lovely poem....It is really sweet, I wonder if you have showed her this? if not I bet you should, No girl can resist this stuff, exspecially if it is written about her.. Some guy wrote me this poem about me last night and it was sort of like this, he's not a very good poet, but he tried, and it was gorgeous... anyway, yeah, but I think this is a song write, cause it has a chorus? well I like it, but I think some bits are abit unusual

    Amazing. I thought this poem extreamly lovely. Well penned, the flow was great, the meaning excellent, the emotion's touching.
